Q. How do I apply for an AFC line of Credit?
A. You may apply online by clicking here or on the APPLY NOW buttons located throughout our site. You may also apply in person at any AFC branch or service auction. Q. What types of inventory finance programs does AFC offer?


A.  AFC offers a variety of inventory finance programs including options for Retail and Wholesale Automotive Dealers, Rental Operators, Salvage/Dismantler Operators, RV, Motorcycle and Commercial Vehicle Dealers.  Short term inventory finance programs, typically referred to as “bridge” programs and Extended Floorplan Programs (EFP) for BHPH dealers are also available.

Q. What qualifications must be met in order to open an AFC Line of Credit?
A.  Applicants should meet the following minimum criteria.

  • Licensed dealer in good standing.
  • Company checking account.
  • Driver's license or any government issued photo identification card.
  • Proof of full coverage insurance, Liability is acceptable if you use our VIP insurance plan.
  • References and credit history, both personally and business, are reviewed.


AFC's primary business is providing inventory financing to dealers of all kinds. We strive to approve credit for as many applicants as possible. There may be other factors involved related to the dealer's business that come into consideration in the credit application. These requirements are subject to change.  Other factors may be considered in the underwriting process.
Q.  Where can I use my line of credit?
A.  You may use your line of credit at over 1,000 auctions, including national auction chains such as ADESA and CarMax Auto Auctions, as well as hundreds of independent auctions across North America.  AFC will also fund dealer-to-dealer transactions, customer trade-ins, online auction purchases and other approved sources.  Locate AFC Branches and Approved Auctions in your area by using our “Auction Finder” tool here. 
Q.  Can I manage my AFC account online?  On the go?
A.  Yes!  Managing your AFC account online and on the go is easy.  Log on to AFCDealer.com from your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone to view inventory on floor, titles, upcoming units due and payment history.  You can even request funding on your Non-Auction Purchases and make payments.    

Q.  How do I obtain a user name and password to access my account online?


A.  Your account is setup at the time of contract activation with AFC.  You will receive an email from us with your AFCDealer.com user id and temporary password.


Q.  I am having trouble logging on to my account.  Help!


A.  The password you create to access your account information on AFCDealer.com is case sensitive.  Please check to ensure your caps lock is off on your keyboard.  Should you continue to encounter issues accessing your account, you might try our “Forgot Password” link, contact your local branch or use our online contact form.
